Framingham Pinot Noir 2018, Marlborough
Totally attractive bouquet of Pinot with aromas of sweet black cherry, darker plum and old raspberry bush. There’s a fine earthy mineral quality with scents of river pebble and silt. Oak is sweet and vanilla scented. On the palate - plush, fresh, youthful, fruity and dry with flavours of berries and soils that reflect the nose. Medium to fine tannins with a fine chalk dust texture, plenty of acidity keeping the palate fresh and adding texture. Lengthy finish, balanced and well made - lots to like and enjoy with this wine. Best drinking from end of 2020 through 2025+.
