There’s no mistaking the intensity and varietal signature of Shiraz with aromas of licorice and black currant, dark plum preserve, grinds of pepper and a toasty, mild smoky layer. Fresh, fleshy, fruity, tense and dry. Flavours of dark fruits and spices with clove dust then chocolate, a dark meaty note and pepper. Fine integrated tannins, medium acidity and a lengthy, balanced finish. I’ve enjoyed this wine through several vintages including this delicious 2019. best drinking from today and through 2023+.
