As with previous vintages of The Ned Pinot Gris - this example has a faint pink hue - it’s not a rose but evidence of a touch of skin contact - Gris grapes are pinkish at harvest.

Plush and very fruity bouquet with aromas of ripe pear and sweet red apple, a fine leesy spice layer, fresh mineral water and a whisper of white flowers. On the palate - plump, fleshy, fruity and just dry with a touch of sweetness as it first invades the palate. Crisp with a satin texture, salivating acidity and flavours that mirror the nose. Balanced, well made and ready. Best drinking from today and through 2022.
