Marsden Estate The Winemakers Daughter Merlot 2019, Bay of Islands

Aromas and palate flavours of sweet red plum and cherry, some rose and clay earth mineral notes. There’s no oak in this wine that I can detect so it’s all fruit and texture - nice! with medium+ acidity and bright, fresh zesty red fruit flavours with fine tannins. Balanced and well made, ready to enjoy today and through Summer 2022.
