Ripe, fruity, varietal, peppery, smoky and completely enticing bouquet. Aromas and flavours of black raspberry and currant, plum then wood spices of clove and vanilla, toasty wood, firm through fine tannins and an abundance of acidity. Youthful and very engaging with persistent dark fruit flavours, no mistaking the layers of oak and wood spices. Lengthy finish, well made, can be cellared through 2024 or enjoy immediately with food. Best drinking from late 2021 through 2025+.
