Lost Garden by Trinity Hill Pinot Noir 2019, Hawkes Bay
Varietal, youthful and forward with aromas of red berries and soft brown oak spices, red flowers and crumbled stone soil notes. Moderately complex. On the palate - fruity with flavours that reflect the nose - cherry and red currant, cranberry then red flowers, smoky oak and brown spice. Firm (ish) textured tannins and medium+ acidity add a strong foundation for the wine to blend together and harmonise flavours and texture. Overall a nice example, well made and ready to enjoy from 2021 through 2025.
