Matavino Wines Chardonnay 2018, Matakana

A youthful bouquet of Chardonnay with aromas of white flowers and white orchard fruits, a creamy vanilla layer with moderate oak aromas woven through. Dry on the palate with moderate+ weight, satin textures and contrasting  acid line. Flavours of apple, white peach, lemon and grape. Balanced, youthful, well made. Still developing and finishing its balance point. Best to decant or wait till late 2020 then drink through 2024+.
