Testify by Daniel Brenan - Te Awanga Chardonnay 2018, Hawkes Bay

Classic Chardonnay aromas of vanilla and peaches, whipped cream and toasty wood. Enticing and plush bouquet. On the palate - creamy, weighty and fruity. Flavours remind me of baked custard and banana, vanilla, peaches and cream. The oak is moderate with flavours that reflect the nose- also with some wood tannins adding texture. Acidity is medium+ - ish adding a crispness on the finish. Overall a balanced and well made wine with a decent length and finish. Best drinking from today and through 2022.
