Pirinoa Road Pinot Noir 2016, Marlborough
With some bottle-age now undertaken the bouquet and palate of this wine includes aromas and flavours of dark cherry and red apple, brown baking spice and a touch of cedar-wood, even a whisper of incense, then rose and dry clay soil suggestions. Dry with fine dusty tannins and medium acidity. Flavours are persistent and reflect the nose with a balanced and even finish. Overall well made and ready to enjoy from today and through 2022.
