Seresin Rachel Pinot Noir 2014, Marlborough
The obvious bottle development and core of Pinosity reflects both the vintage and origins of the fruit as well as the right measure of oak and wine-making. Flavours on the palate suggest roses and soil then cherries and plums, a touch of leather and complexity from bottle development. A firmness and definitive texture from the tannins, nice acid-line and lengthy finish full of pinosity. Well made, lengthy and complex. Still developing, but also drink well now and through 2024.
