Complex, pretty, floral and fruity, layers of dried herb and mineral then a light wood smoke moment emerges. On the palate - very fine textures with chalky tannins, youthful acid line and detailed messages of fruit, place, space and time. I really like the way in which this wine asks me to slow down and take time to discover its story. Flavours of dried herb and bracken, crumbly earth and gentle smoky wood tones with clove and fine grained oak. Complex and lengthy, youthful and intriguing. Drink now or best from late 2021 through 2027.
