Domaine Rewa Pinot Noir 2016, Central Otago
Very elegant and charming on the nose with a captivating earthy, floral, quiet spoken dried herb, delicate and fruity opening chapter. On the palate - tense, poised, firm and dry. Flavours of red berries, dried herb, wood spices and pressed roses. Firm youthful tannins with a youthful crunch of acidity contrasted by a core of red berry fruits, baking spices and gentle wood-smoke. Lengthy finish, a wine still developing, reaching for its final harmonious story. Decant for service. Best drinking from late 2021 through 2027.
