Two Rivers Tributary Pinot Noir 2018, Marlborough
Seductive, perfumed, fruity and varietal with aromas of crushed red cherry and plum, roses and dried herbs, layers of wood spice and dry stone minerality. On the palate - youthful, firm texture from chalky tannins and stony earthy flavours. Plenty of acidity adding a fresh, crisp texture. Ripe and tart cherry, plum and red apple skin, clove and baking spices. Really quite the lovely wine, still very young and primary, but needs some cellar time still to bring all the elements together. Very well made, lengthy finish. Drink from 2021 through 2026.
