Millton La Cote Pinot Noir 2018, Gisborne
Aromas of light red fruits, brown baking spices, soft wood tones and dried roses. Quite complex and detailed, earthy and fine. On the palate - dry with fine tannins and medium+ acidity. Flavours of cherry and red apple then under-brush, twigs and old roses. Overall there’s an Old World feel about this wine with a rustic and familiar, fine even texture and lengthy finish. Balanced and well made, drink now and through 2022.
