Julicher Pinot Noir 2016, Martinborough
Dark brown spices and dark cherry, dusty barrel and silty soil combinations, dried red berry and preserved cherry, integrated bouquet, varietal and intriguing. On the palate - tense, poised, firm and dry. Really lovely flavour combinations of dark cherry, plum and clove vanilla wood spices. Fine tannins and medium acidity, balanced and well made with a lovely complexity and finish. Drinking well now and through 2022.
