Gladstone Pinot Noir 2018, Wairarapa

A lovely fruit and soft oak spice scented bouquet with aromas of strawberry and plum, red cherry and red apple, a silty mineral note and mild toasty oak. On the palate - fine tannins and medium+ acidity, moderate toasty oak and crushed stone clay-like earthy moments. Flavours of red berries and plum return. Balanced and well made in a slightly lighter weight - which works well and shows off its Pinosity well. Moderate+ length, balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2022.
