Moana Park Estate Chardonnay 2019, Gimblett Road, Hawkes Bay

Distinctive, richly scented bouquet with aromas of brazil nut and peach, apple and apricot, toasty barrel spices and moments of stony minerality. On the palate - equally rich, full-bodied, spicy and fruity. Fine wood tannins and medium+ acidity accentuate the wood and mineral attributes, contrasting fruit flavours of stone fruits and grapefruit peel, then vanilla and back to brazil-nut on the finish. Well made, youthful and best drinking from late 2021 through 2026+.
