Askerne 'Tere' Syrah 2019, Hawkes Bay

Aromas of toasty baked spices and ripe blue fruits, blackcurrant, dried raspberry and violets. Complex, intense and inviting. On the palate - equally toasty and intense with flavours of white pepper and dry stone, blackcurrant and raspberry. Firm tannins with a fine polish and dusty chalky texture, plenty of acidity and floral charm add to the mouthfeel, length and finish. Well made and ready to enjoy from late 2021 through 2029. Needs time.
