Saint Clair Family Estate ‘Dawn’ 2015, Marlborough - Made with traditional varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - A really love autolysis attack with aromas of brioche and baked goods followed by aromas of apple, lemon and grapefruit. On the palate - a fine mousse with medium+ acidity, flavours of tree and citrus fruits reflect the nose followed by a toasty, calm and even autolysis. Balanced, well made and ready from today and through 2023. 93 Points - Excellent.

Spy Valley ‘Echelon’ 2012, Marlborough - Made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir - the bouquet shows development, complexity and readiness with aromas of toasted bread and baked goods then apple and peach, moments of citrus and leesy spices. On the palate - delicious with a bold, firm and chalky textured mousse, plenty of acidity to carry the flavours of tree and stone fruit flavours. Complex, still showing a youthful energy, balanced and lengthy finish. Best drinking from today and through 2025. 94 Points - Excellent

Tohu Rewa Rosé 2016, Marlborough - fragrant, delicate, floral, yeasty and enticing bouquet with aromas of lite red berry fruits, baked strawberry pie and red apple. On the palate - bold and expressive mousse with fine to moderate bubble, fine chalky mouthfeel and plenty of acidity to carry through flavours that reflect the nose. Lovely weight and balance with a lengthy finish. Delicious! 94 Points - Excellent
