Koha Pinot Noir 2019, Marlborough

A very fruity varietal core with aromas of plums then dark cherry, vanilla spices of oak and a sweet toasty wood layer. On the palate - ripe and fruity with flavours that reflect the nose, fine tannins with chalky texture, medium+ acidity and balanced, even finish. The toasty brown spices of oak leave a salivating and tasty residue. Made to drink now, but will so age nice for 1-2 years. Best drinking from 2021 through 2024+
