Durvillea by Astrolabe Pinot Noir 2017 Marlborough

Toasty, smoky and fruity bouquet of Pinot with aromas of toasty vanilla oak scents, some oak smoke and char then cherry, red apple and plum. Dry, tense, firm, youthful and varietal with flavours that reflect the nose, firm chalky tannins and layers of wood spice and acidity to add texture and length. Well made and ready to enjoy with food. Best to decant for service. Ideal drinking from late 2019 through 2024.
