Nockies Palette Wines Pinot Noir 2016 Georgetown Central Otago

A bouquet of light red fruits framed with wild thyme and aromas of rocky outcrops and mild savoury autolysis. Dry on the palate with flavours of cherry and wild raspberry then dried herbs and earthy stony soil suggestions. Noticeable chalky tannin, medium+ acidity and very light weight on oak (or at least it appears to be). A lighter weighted wine with an intriguing range of flavours and textures. Balanced and ready to enjoy today and through 2022.
