Two Paddocks Pinot Noir 2018, Central Otago

Made with fruit from the Bannockburn, Earnscleugh and Gibbston vineyards - this wine displays aromas of reds cherries and wild raspberry, wild flowers and thyme, stony minerality and fine baking spices of oak. Overall nicely complex, but not too much. Dry, savoury, complex and youthfully tense on the palate. Flavours of red berries and dried herbs reflect the nose. Firm tannins and plenty of acidity along with a nice core of fruit ensure longevity and development to come. Well made, youthful and not yet ready. Cellar still with best drinking from early 2021 through 2026.
