Wooing Tree

Wooing Tree Pinot Noir 2017, Central Otago

Really lovely bouquet with aromas of wild flowers and red cherries, wild dried thyme and a sandy, gravel soil. Judicious oak use with a French vanilla and toasty spice notes. On the palate - youthful, tense, dry and loaded with textures from fruit to oak tannins, medium+ acidity and complex, lengthy finish. A wine destined for your cellar (if you can show some love for that) and let it integrate more please. Best drinking should be from 2021 through 2025. In the meantime - decant for service and serve with Canterbury lamb roast to medium-rare.
