Hawkdun Rise Benji’s Summer Wine 2019, Central Otago

An aromatic, youthful and fruity bouquet with aromas of fresh tropical fruits, apples and citrus peel. Made with Gewurztraminer the palate is spicy, fruity, peppery and fresh. A kerosine and wet stone layer contrast the core of fruit, a little bite of fruit tannin and warming alcohol layer through the palate. Moderate finish, drinking well now and through 2020.
