Lowburn Ferry Homeblock Pinot Noir 2017, Central Otago

A captivating, youthful, fresh, fruity and gently savoury bouquet of Pinot Noir. Wild thyme, dark cherry, dried raspberry and black cherry aromas, dark spices of wood and wild forest flowers. Dry on the palate with chalky tannins, plenty of acidity and wood layers, tempered by a core of fruit and lengthy finish. Very youthful still needing cellar thyme. Best drinking from late 2021 through 2025+. 95 Points
