Jules Taylor Gruner Veltliner 2018 Marlborough

Varietal, distinctive, fruity and gently herbal, floral and mineral. Flavours remind me of red apple and pineapple, a dusting of dried herb, snow pea then white flower and citrus. Dry on the palate with abundant acidity, very silky texture and lengthy finish. A whisper of white pepper completes the palate. Very nice example - a great aperitif for summer 2020 and through 2022.
