Pyramid Valley Chardonnay 2018 Marlborough

A moderately complex bouquet of Chardonnay with aromas of yellow orchard fruits, red apple, sweet grapefruit, some cashew, baking spices and sweet oak. On the palate - weighty, nicely complex, fruity with flavours that mirror the nose, a lovely mealy texture with a lees, oak and medium+ acidity followed by some fine oak tannins and a swing back to yellow stone fruits and citrus, a touch of yellow florals and mild stony mineral moments. A lovely wine to enjoy from today and through 2024.
