Deeply golden hues lead to aromas and flavours of apricots and quince, caramelised apple and bees-wax and with moments of tropical flowers and manuka honey the bouquet is intense and seductive. Full-bodied, creamy, intense and very sweet. With contrasting acidity the sweetness calms to reveal a deliciously sweet wine with integrated oak spices and natural fruit spice, some sultana and baked custard.
