Craft Farm Chardonnay 2017 Hawkes Bay

by Ant MacKenzie Wines - there’s no mistaking the power and impact of oak and fruit in the bouquet with aromas of vanilla and baked custard, sweet peach and oak. Dry, youthfully firm with mild tannin and acid impact - both will settle over the next 1-2 years. Flavours of stone fruits and citrus , a lengthy finish and well made. Quite young still so some cellar time a good idea. Best from mid 2020 through 2026.
