Ataahua Wines Gewurztraminer 2015 Waipara

Classic bouquet and flavours of Gewurztraminer with white pepper-spice laced fruits: pears and apples, white nectarine and Asian pear, frangipane and rose moments. Perhaps a little Turkish delight and lychee. Dry on the palate with decent fruit concentration and acid balance. Flavours continue to reflect the nose leading to a lengthy finish. Balanced and well made. Great as an aperitif or with carefully selected food such as apricot and nectarine stuffed pork belly. Drink now and through 2023.
