Lamont Wine Pinot Gris 2017 Bendigo Central Otago

The bouquet reveals itself slowly with 3-4 minutes of swirling action needed first. Eventually aromas and flavours of white flowers, quince, pear and a mix of white fleshed fruits emerge. Calm, silky and just dry on the palate with an abundance of acidity, just warm alcohol, silky texture and medium weight. Fairly lengthy finish, balanced, youthful, well made. Best from 2018 through 2022.
