The Hunting Lodge 'Home Block' Chardonnay 2017

Clean, fresh, youthful, floral and vibrant bouquet of a young Chardonnay. Aromas and flavours of white blossoms, white peach, grapefruit, apple and oak. Dry on the palate with the oak signature showing before the fruit - this will change as the wine matures in bottle. Soft, creamy, satin texture, plenty of acidity and overall nicely balanced example. Drinkable now, but best from early 2019 through 2024.
