Bold dark fruited bouquet with a mix of blackberry and black currant, sweet fruits of date and raisin, some under-ripe fruit show in the mix as well Chocolate toasty oak and black licorice and olive. Dry on the palate with firm yet smooth tannins, medium acidity and a core of dark red berry fruit flavours. The under-ripe fruit message remains as well. Moderate finish. Double-decant for service and enjoy with rich, herb crusted protein menu items. Best from today and through 2024.
