Great bouquet of SB with aromas and flavours of wild flowers, lees and citrus fruits, barrel fermentation is overt with a sweet sweat-note, mild toasty quality and a mix of yellow stone fruit and grape fruit. Some herbal grassy-like notes and overall medium complexity. Just dry on the palate with flavours that mirror the nose - grapefruit, lemon then apple and sweet hay. plenty of acidity, a light-ish creamy texture and deeper flavours from the lees and barrel ferment reactions. Balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2022.
