Immediately complex, rich, oaky, toasty, masculine and fruity. Aromas of dark plums and blackberry, some chocolate, a deep core of violets, gravelly soils and baking spices, ripe fruit and allure. Dry, complex, full-bodied and rich in both flavours and textures. Firm tannins with a mealy chalky texture package, plenty of acidity and deep-rooted core of fruit. A very youthful wine displaying all the hallmarks of wine set to age gracefully and for a long time. Double decant for service. Best from 2022 through 2032.
