The Landing Syrah 2015 Bay of Islands

Fruity, vibrant, youthful and varietal with dark red currants, blueberry, pepper and dark plum aromas. No mistaking signature oak with clove and dark vanilla pod aromas, toasty almost smoky wood and savoury violet tones. Dry, medium+ weight with flavours to match the nose, firm youthful tannins and plenty of acidity, quite meaty and rich with a core of fruit to temper and entice. Long peppery finish. Best from now and through 2024.
