Monarch Estate Vineyard 'Kaleidescope Series' Chardonnay 2015 Matakana

Distinctive bouquet of a developing Chardonnay with aromas of yellow stone fruits, apple, new oak and baking spices. A nutty cashew -like suggestion enhancing the aromas of oak. Dry on the palate with an abundance of flavours from white and yellow peach to apple, vanilla, baking spices and cashew nut. Medium++ in weight with good acid line, fine oak tannins and lengthy finish. Cellar temperature best for service. Drinking well now and through 2024.
