Charles Wiffen Pinot Noir 2013 Marlborough

Varietal, fruity and expressive bouquet with aromas of plum, cherry, some red apple skin and savoury dried herb notes; medium toasty wood aromas with clove and other brown spice moments. Dry, savoury and firm with a youthful tension from tannins and acidity; flavours of plum and cherry return; just medium in weight with a  moderate finish. Serve as a food wine - drinking best from now and through 2020.
