Charles Wiffen Chardonnay 2015 Marlborough

Abundant aromas of peaches and yellow stone fruits, vanilla scents of oak and mild toasty wood quality; cream and apple. Dry style with a weighty texture followed by apple and stone fruit flavours, plenty of oak with vanilla and toasted wood layers, fine wood tannins apparent. Some phenolic textures throughout the palate. Best as a food wine. Drink now and through 2019.
