Mondillo Pinot Noir 2015 Central Otago

Vibrant almost powerful bouquet of Pinot with aromas of red cherries, red currants and plum; ripe and youthful with a lifted floral note then aromas of new wood and spice. On the palate - dry, warm, fruity and textually expressive with firm tannins and plenty of acidity, a savoury light whole bunch layer adds depth and complexity; lengthy finish. Decant for service through 2018. Best from late 2019 through 2028.
