Pegasus Bay 'Prima Donna' Pinot Noir 2013 Waipara Valley

Fabulous bouquet with intense Pinosity showing dark cherry and plum fruits laced with fresh new oak and earthy qualities, silty clay soil notes; barrel spice and smoky wood moments. Dry with a dried herb layer, fine to chalky tannins, medium+ (ish) acidity - all resting in a cushion of primary and just emerging secondary fruit flavours. Great length, concentration and finish. What more can I say - it's just lovely!
