Pegasus Bay Sauvignon Semillon 2016 Waipara Valley, North Canterbury

What a great bouquet of Sav/Sem. Aromas of sweet grapefruit and lemon peel, waxy white fleshed peaches then flowers and limestone minerals, some leesy tension and overall richness and engagement. Warm, creamy, dry, plenty of acidity and rich in flavours of citrus fruits - pith and peel, white stone fruits and stony minerality. A lovely wine, fairly lengthy finish. Drink now and through 2023.
