Nice bouquet of red wine with aromas of plums and dark berries, some leather and brown baking spices, woody with tobacco scents then violet highlights. Dry, weighty, full of fruit flavours and rich in character. Firm youthful tannins and acidity to match with toasty oak adding structure weight and texture. Well made (as always), lengthy finish and harmonious. Drink from mid to late 2019 and through 2025.
