Brick Bay Martello Rock 2015 Matakana (Red Blend)

Alluring aromas of dark spices, toasty wood and black fruits. Flavours of Doris plums, blackberry and marmite. Textures from chalky tannins, medium+ acidity and alcohol add weight, intensity and fullness to the palate. A really nice example of the continued potential from Matakana as a wine region and Brick Bay as a shining example of this potential. A lengthy and delicious wine that all wine enthusiasts should encounter. Drinking well now and through 2026.
