Brick Bay Chardonnay 2017 Matakana

Distinctive bouquet, varietal and enticing bouquet. Aromas and scents of apple and grapefruit, white peach and lees. Oak and a light toasty wood complexity adding depth and intrigue. Gentle creamy texture leads into flavours of vanilla and oak spice then yellow stone fruits, citrus and apple. Almost full-bodied and weighty with medium+ alcohol and and a rich core of flavour. Youthful, balanced and well made. Best drinking from late 2019 through 2024.
