Churton

Churton Pinot Noir 2016 Marlborough

Fantastic bouquet of Pinot Noir with layers of dried herb and red berry fruits, brown spices of oak and earthy mineral core. Equally great on the palate with flavours of red berries layered between clove and toasty oak spices with some dried herb. Firm youthful tannins, medium+ acidity, plenty of tension and poise. A young wine still needing cellar time or a large decanter for immediate service. Long finish with best drinking from late 2020 through 2030.
