Memorial for Mike Weersing in pictures

Friends and family of Mike Weersing gathered together at the Pyramid Valley vineyards and winery in North Canterbury, and online through a live-feed, on Saturday February 27th. Speeches, reflections, sharing of great wines, food and the planting of a redwood tree to honor and remember Mike as well as his contribution to the New Zealand wine story, Bio-dynamics and real grape farming.

I never tired of listening to Mike’s ideas on viticulture and wine. “Wine is liquid geography that speaks of a time and place”.
