Winemaking for the 2018 Calvert
Grapes were 100% hand picked from 6 rows in the Calvert block on the 19th March.
Organically certified vineyard, Clones 115 and 10/5 fermented separately.
25% of the fruit was whole bunch, indigenous fermentation with 22 days on skins.
30% new oak.
Matured in barrel for 14 months before bottling un-fined and unfiltered.
2018 was a great year - warm and the fruit was in great condition.
This wine as only release in July 2020.
