Cloudy Bay launches Wine Club

Cloudy Bay is pleased to announce the launch of its brand-new wine club, The Pelorus Circle. Focusing on its New Zealand customers initially, the club is designed to bring Cloudy Bay fans closer to the business, giving them access to unique events, museum wines and exclusive content.

Members of the Pelorus Circle will receive a quarterly delivery of 6 bottles of Cloudy Bay wine for $290 per delivery. Each selection is curated by a different member of the Cloudy Bay family, and will include current releases, museum wines and limited editions. As well as the delivery, members also gain access to a range of exclusive benefits, including members’ events, special discounts, and annual tours.

“We are very happy to be able to offer Cloudy Bay enthusiasts a way to explore our wines, meet our team and hear our stories. If this year has taught us anything, it’s about the value of community, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to build some new connections”, says Yang Shen, Estate Director of Cloudy Bay.

The Pelorus Circle takes its name from Pelorus Jack, the famous dolphin that can be found on every bottle of Cloudy Bay. “Pelorus Jack has been part of the Cloudy Bay family since the very beginning of our business, and – as dolphins are also extremely sociable – he seemed like the perfect namesake for our club”, says Julie Delmas, Cloudy Bay Brand Experience Manager.

The quarterly selections are delivered in a beautifully decorated box designed by kiwi artist Hannah Jensen, who took her inspiration from Pelorus Jack and the Marlborough Sounds to create a stunning celebration of nature that you may not want to add to your weekly recycling!

About Cloudy Bay

Cloudy Bay was established in 1985 by David Hohnen, a pioneer and visionary, who was convinced of New Zealand wines’ great potential. The winery was among the first five to be established in Marlborough, the country’s finest wine region, and is now highly regarded for the superlative quality and consistency of its wines. 30 years later, Cloudy Bay remains New Zealand’s most recognized winery. Sauvignon Blanc is the estate’s flagship variety. Cloudy Bay also produces a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir and a sparkling wine, Pelorus.
